It was a good attempt and I've been waiting for this day for a long time. She still has no hair, but I just had to try it to see if it would work. Of course, she lost one about 10 minutes later in the pile of leaves, but we tried!

First Hairbow!
She pretty much has no hair, but she has just enough on the top for me to get a tiny little bow in now!

You can tell how much she loves it too!
So that gave me an idea...
Mama must make more bows in every color now!
St. Patrick's Day bows were first on the list.
Done!

Our Week & Valentine's Day Prep
Playing with Nana & Rob while visiting Papa

Day 1 of Valentine's Day box prep
Day 2 consisted of covering the box in stickers
Caylee tried puffs for the first time...and then threw up an entire container of yogurt all over herself. #mess

Super Bowl Football Headband
I decided to start making her two of all her clips so we have enough once we're ready for pigtails (someday, right?) Since neither of us girls really care about football, at least we can look cute!

Our Week
A much-needed haircut

I love that we gave him a mohawk and he didn't even know! Daddy shaved it off right after I took the pic, but it was pretty funny.
Why doesn't my child go to sleep? He reads books with his flashlight in his bed!
Caylee in her tracksuit and Converse! It was super cold this week, so we bundled up with really warm clothes. She's also been scratching her cradle cap a lot, so I put hoods on her as much as I could to keep her hands away.
Happy girl in her new skinny cords!
Some pics sent to me by Aunt Julie from Connor's excursions last weekend. I was sick with mastitis and stuck in bed, so Julie & Grandpa took him to the museum to play.
Lego time with Grammy!

Caylee's Birthmarks
Now that it's been almost 7 months, I thought it was a good time to do a birthmark update. Considering they were pretty much non-existent when she was born, they've gotten a lot bigger. However, the doctor is still promising me that the strawberry marks will go away. She said the little gray areas are showing progress that they're starting to heal and I can see hair starting to grow in them too. The smaller "stork bites" are probably permanent, but at least those aren't as obvious. Her hair should cover those completely.
Since she can sit up now, they're definitely more obvious than they were when she was laying down all the time. They're a part of who she is, but I do hope the strawberry marks get smaller as she grows up. I would hate for her to be made fun of if it takes awhile for her hair to grow in. That's why she wears so many pretty hair bows!

Our Week
Connor loves to help Papa with his walker

The sock monkey hat is back! Connor did awesome at his ENT checkup and his tubes are still in place for the fall/winter season.
Caylee's favorite hobby of chewing on her hand
We took a risk and decided to cut Connor's hair ourselves! 3 cuts and we would break even with the purchase of the trimmer, so it was worth a try. It sounded a lot more scary than it actually was and it turned out really well! Success!
Thank goodness for the ipad!
Sleepyhead.
How is she big enough to sit like this already? She loves sitting in here like a big girl! :)
Poor girl :( She got a fever at daycare on Friday afternoon and this is how I found her when I came in. She looked so miserable and you could tell in her face that she wasn't feeling well.
She looked cute, but she was just a mess. The fever went down overnight, but she was just so sad :(

Pretty in Purple
Every girl gets dressed in pink, but I also love Caylee in purple. One of her newest hairbows is this purple tulle one with rhinestones and it looked adorable with her lavender onesie and skinny jeans.

I think the sun was a little too bright for her, but it was so pretty!
She liked it a little better inside!
I'm so pretty!
