Our Week

Aunt Julie's birthday was on Yom Kippur, so we celebrated on Wednesday night.  Connor was so excited for the "birthday party" that he didn't want to play until after birthday cake!

My favorite piece of Connor's journal this week was his picture of him playing on the computer.  Aww!

Happy 4th of July!

Good morning, Caylee & Kitty!

Connor must have gotten up early to go fishing and he caught another fish!

Caylee wore her new patriotic dress with her favorite flag and we took some photos outside in the morning.

She went over to Grammy & Grandpa's house to play and even took a nap with Grammy!

I got this text of Connor playing on the blow-up waterslide! I'm sure he wants one for our house now!

After Caylee's nap, Aunt Julie and the two of us went to the craft fair for a bit.  We had the most fun at the baby hairbow booth (of course) and she may or may not have gotten just one new bow.

After that, we headed over to Grammy & Grandpa's again.  So adorable! Kisses for the bear with "bracelets" on!

Playing catch and she loves to share!

Perfect weather for some family photos

Going Home & Father's Day

On our last morning, we ate breakfast and took a few last pictures to remember our fun vacation!

Connor loved his big boy room and gaming chair!

Vacationing is hard work!  Both kids slept in the car on the way home :)

Dada opened his Father's Day gifts once we got settled at home.  We got him some beef jerky from Bass Pro Shop, a "Coolest Dad Ever!" t-shirt, and a personalized keychain.

Easter Bunny Caylee

Since I did these photos with Connor, I wanted to do them with Caylee too.  I pulled out the same blanket, eggs, and hat that I made for our little photo shoot.

If you need to keep a baby busy, give her some eggs!  She was happy to play for a long, long time!

Love these comparison shots!

Passover

On Saturday, we celebrated Passover with our family.  We went to Leah & Lloyd's house as we've been doing for the past few years as we combine families.  We met baby CC for the first time and I think it put Connor in the mood to be extra sweet to his baby sister!

Caylee tasted all the Passover foods for the first time!

She ate a ton of matzah while we went through the service before dinner!  She also tried gefilte fish, brisket, etc.

Connor impressed everyone with his amazing drawing skills!  This was his self portrait with his button down shirt and he even signed his name for us.  Nana took it home to show Papa.

Some selfies with Mama :)

Easter Egg Hunt

It was freezing out, but we braved the cold for the Easter Egg Hunt!  I had a feeling Connor might be scared of the Easter Bunny again, but I was really hoping for the best.  They separated the kids by age group, so that was a big plus to this hunt.  However, the Easter Bunny came out to start the hunt and Connor freaked out.  He ran away from the eggs just as all the kids ran into the box to start grabbing them.  I picked him up while he was crying and ran inside.  I didn't want him to be the only one without any eggs and then be disappointed!  I ran him right into the middle and quickly grabbed 3 eggs for his basket.

As soon as he got back out, he was happy and loved opening his eggs with Dada!  He also got to jump in the bounce house with his friends!

Nana's Birthday

Nana's birthday is our annual St. Patrick's Day celebration!  This year, we had the party at Papa's new home and everyone met for lunch in their green.

Caylee wore her new green bow that everyone loved and she pigged out on salad from Grammy.

We took some group photos while we waited for the food.

Miss Caylee and Nana in their green

After lunch, we sang Happy Birthday and Connor sat on Nana's lap like he always does.

They got down to one candle and couldn't blow it out!

As usual, the kids were quite the attraction for all the people at the retirement home.  Connor had a great time interacting with everyone and helping Nana open her birthday gifts.  By 1:00, we could tell he was exhausted...
