On June 30, we starting to see just a tiny little sliver of tooth! We can feel it under her gums, but it's very hard to actually see. She's been a little crabby at home, but we must just be special, because she's been her happy self at daycare as usual!

Our Weekend
Everyone met at Steak & Shake for a fun dinner out. The waitress gave us little red cars to put together while we waited for our food and the kids had a great time decorating & playing with them.

I love this photo! I showed her how to "drive" her car!
On Saturday morning, we got up extra early (thanks Connor), so we ran to McDonalds for a special breakfast and then headed to basketball class. While he still needs work with dribbling, Connor impressed us with his rebounding skills. He took it so seriously that he was wrestling the ball to the floor to get it before anyone else did. He was actually the only kid who paid any attention to the ball right after it went into the net!
This photo is so great because it reminds me of all the photos of Daddy playing as a kid.
The kids got to play their first "game" for just a few minutes. He got the ball once, didn't dribble, but he ran to the basket and tried to shoot!
After class, we played at the park and then headed to Jack's 4th birthday party!
Jack's cars were a huge hit, so they all took turns driving around in circles on the driveway.
Umm, no. That didn't last long.
Seriously. The lace leggings and zebra print looked so cute! Too bad she ripped a hole in her leggings during the party!
What Connor's Friends Say About Him
Every child in his class got a turn to do this and it was finally Connor's turn! I don't know where the Transformers thing came from since he doesn't have any and they don't play with them at school, but the rest is true!

Going Home & Father's Day
On our last morning, we ate breakfast and took a few last pictures to remember our fun vacation!

Connor loved his big boy room and gaming chair!
Vacationing is hard work! Both kids slept in the car on the way home :)
Dada opened his Father's Day gifts once we got settled at home. We got him some beef jerky from Bass Pro Shop, a "Coolest Dad Ever!" t-shirt, and a personalized keychain.

St. Joseph - Day 3
After breakfast, we went to a small amusement park. We were pretty much the only people there even though it was a Saturday, so it turned out to be really nice for us. We were able to do all the activities we wanted without waiting or Connor getting scared.
Since neither Connor nor I have ever been in a go-kart, we went first on the ride. I could tell he was a little uneasy about it, but it also helped that we were the only ones there, so he didn't know what to expect.

He did really well and we drove around for a few minutes together!
After driving, Connor and Dada played 18 holes of mini golf. Again, with no one else there, they were able to take their time and Connor got to run around a little and throw his ball.
Caylee and I just watched...and sunbathed...
And took selfies...
Dada and Connor took a ride on the go-kart!
After a good nap...

We went to the beach!
I forgot how messy sand was, but we did pretty good! We didn't actually go in the water, but we played in the sand, ate snacks, and went on the beach playground.

St. Joseph - Day 2
You know you're tired when you pass out like this...
(and that was just after breakfast!)
After a little nap for Caylee, we headed to downtown St. Joseph to walk around. Connor and I loved the giant ducks that they had around the city, so I thought it might be fun to take pictures next to the cute ones.

Minion duck!
We stopped for a snack at a candy shop and they had these colorful chairs outside for us to hang out in!
At lunch, we ate at a sandwich shop, and the owner invited Connor to come in the back to watch the bagels in the special oven. It was actually pretty interesting to see how they bake them. I had no idea!
The Captain America duck was our bribe to get him to finish his lunch!
After a good nap (and a trip to Walgreens for my allergic reaction), we drove to Silver Beach to the carousel and boardwalk. Connor begged all day to ride the horse on the carousel, but once we got there, he was too scared to go. I bought the ticket already, so I took Caylee!
First time for everything!
I took her off the horse about halfway through and just held her the rest of the time!
We stopped at the Fun House mirrors and Connor loved them!
The rocking chairs around the carousel reminded me of photos of my vacations as a kid, so I wanted to make sure we got pictures of my kids in them.
They didn't work out as planned, but still cute!
More ducky pics!
Connor thought this looked like Super Man and he didn't understand the phone booth thing, but whatever...
After a yummy dinner at a restaurant downtown, we took a long walk down the pier to see the lighthouses and boats.
Kisses for Mama!
He was so happy :)
