Our Week

What's better than plating dress up and wrestling while putting away laundry?

Dressing up like Daddy!

Connor begged to play with his new hot potato game and he loved it!

I had to take a picture of Caylee's last night in her mitten jammies before we retired them.  The last little bit of baby :(

Connor started Kindergarten Prep lessons this week at school and they're going to be working on writing and journaling each day.  He brought home the most adorable picture of his family (Connor, Daddy, Mama, tiny Caylee).

Our Week

A little sidewalk chalk fun and I taught Connor how to write something special...

When your kid doesn't want to nap, this is what he does with his chairs...

"Look Mama, I'm making a snow angel!"

Playing the Ninja Turtles Nintendo game I got from the flea market...

The baby swing has only been out for 15 months and he decided to turn it on and try it out this week

On Thursday, daycare had a summer carnival in the evening. Caylee got right in with the big kids and splashed in the water to look for ducks!

Photo booth fun!

In honor of his birthday, Connor got a blue glitter 4 on his face at the face painting booth!

Northgate Party in the Park

Our annual neighborhood party in the park was over the weekend and it was probably the best one yet for the kids!  The goats were running around in circles, but I managed one picture with them standing still!

Caylee loves this little bunny!  I sat her next to a goat and she was fine until the goat licked her!  She screamed and then we were done at the petting zoo!

Bounce house fun!

The police dog came again this year! I didn't think we were allowed to pet the dog, but the officer let Connor do it!

Connor first game of bags and he got a few in!  He was the youngest one playing, so he got pretty close to the board :)

We played limbo and I won ticket to the racetrack! I was the only parent who played (and I did well!), so I won automatically.  Connor got bored of limbo quickly since he was the shortest and didn't have to try at all!

Water balloon toss!

St. Joseph - Day 3

After breakfast, we went to a small amusement park.  We were pretty much the only people there even though it was a Saturday, so it turned out to be really nice for us.  We were able to do all the activities we wanted without waiting or Connor getting scared.

Since neither Connor nor I have ever been in a go-kart, we went first on the ride.  I could tell he was a little uneasy about it, but it also helped that we were the only ones there, so he didn't know what to expect.

He did really well and we drove around for a few minutes together!

After driving, Connor and Dada played 18 holes of mini golf.  Again, with no one else there, they were able to take their time and Connor got to run around a little and throw his ball.

Caylee and I just watched...and sunbathed...

And took selfies...

Dada and Connor took a ride on the go-kart!

After a good nap...
We went to the beach!

I forgot how messy sand was, but we did pretty good!  We didn't actually go in the water, but we played in the sand, ate snacks, and went on the beach playground.

Our Week

Connor has been into play-doh recently, so we've been playing on the kitchen table a lot.

Once I showed him that I could make a penguin out of play-doh to match his potty penguin timer, he was obsessed!

Caylee ready for her bath!  This star fish toy is perfect for her little hands.

Grandpa came over a couple times during the week to bring pizza and ice cream.  Connor showed him how to play The Matching Game.

Caylee and Kitty spending some quality time together.  She was trying to wiggle towards him!

Caylee has been sticking out her tongue a lot lately! Silly girl!  I snapped a pic of her while we waited for a clothing swap to start on Saturday.  I got some really nice things for Connor and her, but I focused more on Connor this time since she's so much easier to shop for.

A little fun with my girl and her hair bow :)

Chevron pacifier.  Love it.
