Our Week

My child thinks she's a cat...

This was the funniest thing ever!  She hadn't figured out how to use her snack cup, so she kept getting her hand stuck in it.  I don't think she realized it was a bad thing, so she was just crawling around with it on like a little accessory!

Grammy got Connor a basketball yarmulke from Israel, so they both tried it on!

During their bath this week, Caylee spent a few minutes out of her baby tub!  Connor loved it more than she did and they got to play like big kids!

First Bath Together

I've been waiting for this day! Seriously, even when I was pregnant, I dreamed of how cute this was going to be.  I'm overjoyed at how much fun Connor had and he's begging to do it again!

Splish Splash!

This was the cutest.thing.ever.  Connor wanted to help give Caylee a bath!  He insisted on putting soap on her hair and helping to rinse her off.

He really loves that she's more like a little person now and he can interact with her!

Our Week

The Hanukkah bears came out at Grammy & Grandpa's house!  I bought a new one to add to the collection this year that we put with the others.

Connor got some new markers to practice writing his name.  On this day, we practiced writing the letter C.

Caylee's first taste of carrots went very well.  She seemed to like those better than any of the other foods she's tried so far.

Impromptu moment in the bath when I put Caylee in for a minute with Connor.  Maybe another couple months and she'll be able to sit in there with him!

Connor got a letter from Santa!

Aunt Julie came over on Saturday and they made a penguin and Christmas tree out of play-doh.  He also wore his new medal from sports class all day.

Caylee's new holiday decorations were added to our collection.  How freaking cute is her little menorah?!?

The baby's first Christmas ornament spoon was perfect since she's just starting solids right now.

Our Week - Caylee Edition

Caylee enjoyed her first snow last Sunday.  We bundled up and went shopping for a bit.

Can she be any more adorable in her fuzzy hat and holding onto her new fuzzy teddy bear?

This was her second try at rice cereal.  She took a little and then seemed to get bored...but lots of smiles!

Future ballerina!  Look at that pointed toe!  She took her whole bath with her leg in the air.

I think she's starting a little growth spurt.  I picked her up from daycare on Friday and found her asleep on the floor with all her friends playing around her.  Awww!

Our Week

Connor has been into play-doh recently, so we've been playing on the kitchen table a lot.

Once I showed him that I could make a penguin out of play-doh to match his potty penguin timer, he was obsessed!

Grandpa came over a couple times during the week to bring pizza and ice cream.  Connor showed him how to play The Matching Game.

Caylee and Kitty spending some quality time together.  She was trying to wiggle towards him!

Caylee has been sticking out her tongue a lot lately! Silly girl!  I snapped a pic of her while we waited for a clothing swap to start on Saturday.  I got some really nice things for Connor and her, but I focused more on Connor this time since she's so much easier to shop for.

Our Week

Connor opened up one of his new birthday toys which was a Crayola  coloring set with markers that only work on the special paper.

It might have only lasted for a short time, but I love coloring sessions!

Spitting has gotten worse in the last week or two, so there's lots of baths needed for this little girl!

We were in shock that Connor agreed to try a cheddar sausage with chili and cheese on it for dinner one night.  He saw Daddy eating his and wanted to make one of his own!

Connor and I had a conversation during the week about how Caylee needed some sunglasses and I came across some cheap pairs at The Children's Place when I was out.  So here's her first pair of pink glitter sunnies!

They're a little too big, but they fit on her head!

On Friday, we went to the End of Summer Party at daycare and Connor gave Caylee a pair of sunglasses to wear too.  All the teachers thought it was hilarious!
