Weekend Fun & Kitty's Birthday

Caylee's first PB&J sandwich

Lil' baller!

Working on walking while the boys played baseball...

She was getting so upset that she couldn't play sports, so she finally got a chance at the end.  She loved it!

On Sunday, we celebrated Kitty's 11th birthday! Connor picked out a can of food for him as his gift and we gave it to him for breakfast.

Cupcakes!

She only ate the frosting, but at least she wasn't as messy as her birthday!

Our Week

I had Caylee's parent/teacher conference on Wednesday during lunch, so I stopped by Connor's class.  They just got in from playing outside and all the kids were red and sweaty!  They're so cute eating lunch when no parents are around and they actually eat all their food.  Turkey sandwiches, carrots & mango are gobbled up like no big deal!

Miss Caylee's look of innocence

Connor said all his animals were sick, so we played doctor and helped them get better

Usually Kitty is not allowed in his room during naps (according to Connor), but on Saturday, I found this and couldn't resist a quick photo.

Happy 4th of July!

Good morning, Caylee & Kitty!

Connor must have gotten up early to go fishing and he caught another fish!

Caylee wore her new patriotic dress with her favorite flag and we took some photos outside in the morning.

She went over to Grammy & Grandpa's house to play and even took a nap with Grammy!

I got this text of Connor playing on the blow-up waterslide! I'm sure he wants one for our house now!

After Caylee's nap, Aunt Julie and the two of us went to the craft fair for a bit.  We had the most fun at the baby hairbow booth (of course) and she may or may not have gotten just one new bow.

After that, we headed over to Grammy & Grandpa's again.  So adorable! Kisses for the bear with "bracelets" on!

Playing catch and she loves to share!

Perfect weather for some family photos

Our Week

My child thinks she's a cat...

This was the funniest thing ever!  She hadn't figured out how to use her snack cup, so she kept getting her hand stuck in it.  I don't think she realized it was a bad thing, so she was just crawling around with it on like a little accessory!

Grammy got Connor a basketball yarmulke from Israel, so they both tried it on!

During their bath this week, Caylee spent a few minutes out of her baby tub!  Connor loved it more than she did and they got to play like big kids!

Our Week...with a Sick Family

Caylee's birthday week started out great with the kids playing together and having a great time!

On Wednesday, we celebrated her birthday with some cake and presents.  But by Thursday morning, she was throwing up and I had to pick her up from daycare early.  The flu was going around there last week, so she may have caught something from there.  She seemed fine after a long nap (when I took this photo), but she was on and off the rest of the week.

Dada stayed home with her on Friday, but then he got sick.  Grammy also caught it and was in bed all weekend.  Connor and I had some extra time to spend together since we were the only healthy ones.  Selfie!

Dada was feeling better for a little while on Saturday, so we all went to Connor's first basketball class.  The coach is awesome, so I'm really excited to see how much progress he makes over the summer.

On Saturday afternoon/evening, we said goodbye to my car.  As much as it can be a piece of junk, I've had it for 9 years and I'm not a person who likes change.  Both kids kinda grew up in that car and I've had it since I quit my first "real" job after college.  It's bittersweet to get rid of it, but I need something new and more safe for the kids.

The selfies didn't turn out very well, we were all tired, and it was raining...

On Sunday, Connor asked me to take a picture of him and Kitty snuggling!
