Annual Family Hanukkah Party

Sunday was our annual family Hanukkah party and I was so excited for Connor to be able to enjoy it this year.  We started out with just the immediate family to open gifts before everyone else came.

Connor got distracted after a few minutes of opening gifts, but I tried to keep bringing him back to see what he got.  His first gift was a Spot book from Great Grandma & Grandpa.

As other people opened their gifts, he played with the dreidel on the coffee table.  He loved watching it spin!

I think Connor's favorite gift from the night was the See 'N' Say with animal sounds from Grandma & Grandpa.

More distractions while playing with Great Grandpa...
And he found the glasses!

After gifts, everyone else arrived and we socialized with the family & friends.  Daddy was trying to make Connor laugh for everyone!

The collection of holiday bears is a growing tradition at Grandma & Grandpa's house each year.  Connor visited last weekend and had a glimpse of it, so he walked right over during the party to take another look.

I love how he knew exactly which one was his and walked right up to grab his Cookie Monster from the bunch!  The Cookie Monster usually lives in the pack & play he naps in when he visits.

First taste of a potato latke!  He doesn't look happy, but he ended up loving them!

Connor got changed into his pajamas before dessert and got in a little play time before we had to go home for bed.  Such a fun night!
