• when we ask him to get his ball, shoes, book and phone, he will bring it to us
• becoming very skilled at using his spoon to feed himself and will usually insist on trying to feed himself
• enjoying and feeling comfortable in the toddler room at daycare. He knows his routine and will go right to the sink to wash his hands and then get breakfast. At pickup, he goes right to his jacket to get ready to go.
• loves his shoes, jacket and hat and will give them to Mommy and Daddy to put on him
• will say "coat" if he sees his coat
• will say "coat" if he sees his coat
• cried when he met Santa for the first time
• loved Hanukkah, ripping wrapping paper, playing with dreidels
• wearing 9 and 12 month clothes
• endured his third (maybe 4th caught before it got bad) infection with tubes
• still nursing in the morning and at night, but is becoming less interested in the nighttime feeding before bed
• pointing at everything! We make an effort to try to say out loud what he's pointing to
• obsessed with his animal book and loves the pages with the cats and dogs
• we say, "1...2..." and he says, "3!", but we're still working on this one
• repeated "gobble gobble" and "goat" when we played with the See 'n' Say animal sounds toy
• transitioning to less rocking to bed and more going to bed awake. He gets his back rubbed at daycare so we started doing that for bedtime instead of rocking. He is also having more of an interest in holding his Wub when he goes to bed.
• if we ask for a hug, he will come over and give us one
