14 months!

Not a hard transition for me this month.  He's been progressing and learning so much!  But he's also been through a lot of trauma and injuries too.

14 Month Stats:
Weight: ?
Height: ?

14 Month Milestones:

• walking!  He's about 60% (?) walking right now.  Almost there!  He loves it and he looks so proud!

• might have said "kitty," "ball," and "school"...or we like to think so!

• will hold cell phone and key toy up to his cheek like he's "talking" on the phone

• more G, N, L, W sounds and much more Da da

• has a clear way of telling us when he wants his sippy cup during a meal.  He will point and grunt at it until we give it to him.

• starting to be more interested in holding his own spoon and feeding himself.  He was able to hold the spoon, dip it in his spaghetti-o's, and then put the spoon in his mouth.  He didn't get any food on the spoon though!

• favorite activities: playing with toilet paper, opening and closing doors, crunching empty water bottles, stacking cups, chewing on keys, banging on glass windows and doors

• got tubes put in his ears

• got 4 stitches in his forehead

• 2 incident reports from daycare from falls with bumps & bruises

• becoming a little more picky about food and will push away food he doesn't want

• tried refried beans (loved!), enchiladas, spinach muffins, spaghetti-Os, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, sugar cookie, brownie, DQ blizzard  (literally one bite of all these desserts)

• we gave Connor refried beans at dinner on a Friday and he loved them.  On Monday, he came home with a note from daycare that said something like, "Connor LOVES refried beans!  He had seconds and thirds!"

• now comfortable bathing in the infant tub placed in the big bathtub (as opposed to crying through it before)

• sleeping 10-12 hours, but some small wake-ups towards morning (might be cold or lost his paci)

• got the two front top teeth and it looks like the ones on both sides might be soon

• the oldest kid in the infant room at daycare and starting to hang out with the toddlers on the playground

And some photos to remember the last month...
