This year, he really understood his birthday and everything that went along with it like candles, cake, and singing. He was very excited to see his Mickey Mouse cake and when everyone lined up to sing to him.
After we sang, he insisted on getting a piece of cake with Mickey's foot on it. Of course, Mickey's foot was in the middle of the cake, but I cut it just for him!
Such a silly guy! After all that begging, he literally only ate the frosting with Mickey's foot and none of the actual cake!
After cake, Connor got to open his birthday gifts.
New Nike clothes are perfect for his new sports class that he starts next week!
He got a new Batman puzzle from Aunt Julie & Uncle Sam
As much as he wasn't interested in the cards, I insisted that he open each one to make sure we talked about who gave him each gift.
Nana & Papa got him a coloring book with stickers, so he shared his stickers with the other kids.
Rick, Heidi & Ryan got him a Spiderman helmet that he immediately tried on!
We got him a big boy soccer ball and football for sports class so he could practice at home (along with his big kid bike that he picked out a few weeks ago).
Partied out after a long, long day and a fun time!
