Although Hanukkah is 8 nights, we do one big celebration with the extended family every year. I was a little sad that it turned out to be the same day as Thanksgiving, but since this will only happen once in our lifetime, it's kind of a special experience. To make both holidays work, we did Hanukkah in the morning, went home for naps, and then did Thanksgiving in the afternoon/evening.
Connor LOVES the Hanukkah bears at Grammy & Grandpa's house!

The dreidel bear that plays the Dreidel Song is his favorite.
First, Connor helped light the menorah.
And then he helped light the second menorah
He knows what presents are now, so he was very excited to take his turn opening!
He also helped everyone else open their gifts too.
Aunt Julie & Uncle Sam got him the "Bye-Bye Binky" book that we will start reading soon.
He was very excited about all the Duplo sets he got this year. He got 4 in all, so I think he's going to be busy!
He opened Kitty's gift!
After a long morning of excitement, we took some last minute pics and went home to nap!
