We're not Irish, but we like celebrating just because...well, we can! Plus, Great-Grandma's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day, so we've always celebrated for her. Connor wore his special St. Patty's shirt to school on Friday and I got a few pics of us at dinner that night. Mommy is not a fan of skull clothing, but I couldn't pass up this shirt and it was a hand-me-down, so why not? Connor and I shared a dinner of mac & cheese and salad at Corner Bakery and he ate his dinner perfectly like a big boy.
On Sunday afternoon, we went to our little family birthday party for Great Grandma. Aunt Julie suggested we bring a few balloons for Connor and he got very excited when he saw them.
Grandma took a few minutes to show me how Connor loves to "ride" the stuffed ducky that she keeps in my old bedroom.
Connor had lots of fun playing with Great Grandma & Grandpa. The basketballs are one of his favorite toys when he visits.
What a big boy! He unexpectedly ate pizza just like everyone else!
We sang "Happy Birthday" and Connor was just amazed by the candles.
After ice cream cake, he spent a little time reading with Grandpa from his favorite book (at their house), "Hop on Pop."
