19 Month Milestones:
• New frequently-used words: stuck, up, please (pleesh), doggie, e-i-e-i-o, mine, no

• New sentence: Kitty ball

• Got first 2 upper molars and up to 10 teeth total

• Loves brushing his teeth like Mommy and Daddy

• Getting to be a lot more picky with food.  He sometimes refuses to try or eat anything except his favorite foods like yogurt, pouches, string cheese, grapes, and raisins.  We had to start a little food discipline where he is offered a few things, and if he doesn't eat them, he gets a 1 minute timeout where we turn his chair around to face the wall.  Then after, he can come back to the table and he is welcome to eat his food again, but he will not get attention from us.  

• Loving cereal with milk and using a spoon like a big boy

• Favorite toys right now: books, cd player, laptop, big blocks, stacking cups 

• Knows about 35 words that he will use on his own without someone saying them first

• Has not had any major ear infections, but just several days of puss in his ear.

• Starting to get more into the "terrible 2s" with some minor tantrums

• At school, his teachers tell us that he always asks for more breakfast before he's even finished what he has on his plate

• Working on weaning from morning breastfeeding by getting a cup of milk instead

• Played in the snow for the first time

• Took his first shower with Daddy since he was a newborn and not thrilled at all about trying to take a bath in the big boy tub without his infant tub



• Working on manners and saying "please" and "thank you"

• Starting to be more interesting in walking instead of being carried in public places
