We have no idea why it took him so long to figure this out. He can drink from sippy cups, uses pacifiers, and eats from pouches, but he could not get liquid to go up the straw. Something clicked last week and he did it! Go Connor! His reward was a little sugar cookie from Moe's after enduring his exam at the pediatrician and being a big boy during it.
Yay for getting it figured out! I was going to tell you that I made tomato soup by watering down spaghetti sauce the other night. I bet Connor would be a fan!
ReplyDeleteRussell was the same way. It took him forever to learn the straw when it felt 8 month olds cwere all doing it. It's been a very helpful skill for going out to eat when we forget his cup. Your little one is getting so big!!
