14 Week Update

Baby's the size of lemon!
Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo (thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.

I also hit the 100 day mark! I've officially been pregnant for over 100 days! I can't believe my pregnancy is now 1/3 over. That's a really strange feeling since it still feels so new to me.
I'm still really into fruits and special salads. I snacked on cantelope, kiwi, and strawberries this week. I "pigged out" on 2 Greek salads and a Portillo's chopped salad. YUM! I'm loving these healthy food cravings! I've also been dying for potatoes o'brien any time of the day. I had a suprrise breakfast made by Daddy on Wednesday before work.
After the surprise breakfast, I had my first experience with heartburn. I've had it a few times in the past, but never this bad and I never knew exactly what it was. I have a feeling it was the tiny slice of chocolate cake the night before. Luckily, that went away pretty quickly. But I'm still majorly sick and nauseous every day. It's funny that I wanted this SO badly and I have to be the lucky one who is still getting sick and still tired during second trimester. Any day now...please?

On a positive note, I don't have to go naked anymore! I got a few new pairs of pants that actually fit! Very excited to wear them and show off the bump!
