8 months!

She's trying so hard to fit on that calendar!

Not a good month for her health-wise since our whole family has been sick pretty much constantly, but she's still always happy!
• eating all stage 2 baby food purees
• started eating puffs and will try to feed herself
• working on clapping
• loves Row Row Row Your Boat
• very interested in cell phones and tv remotes
• spending more time with Connor
• very interested in Kitty and grabbing his hair when he's nearby
• will kick during tummy time, but no movement
• loves standing with help
• still saying "Da da da da"
• not napping as well at daycare lately, but naps at home
• still being swaddled at home
• loves her pacifier and can put it in herself
• switched to size 3 diapers
• wears 6 month clothes
• got over her ear infection, but has been fighting a cold for about a month
• still drinking three 6 oz. bottles at daycare
• takes baths with Connor when we have time
• still suffering with cradle cap and itching her head, so we're treating with t-gel and hydrocortisone

Valentine's Day Artwork

Artwork by my two favorite Valentines...

Connor painted the backgrounds on both.

We let them dry overnight and then we did the prints the next night by the bathtub.

Sick.

Well, last week I caught whatever horrible virus Connor had...but even worse.  After getting it myself, I really felt bad that he had to go through that.  However, I think my case was significantly worse because I couldn't even move or eat for about 5 days.  Due to my sickness, I missed out on seeing my family all week which means a lack of photos :(

Friday, I made it back to work and cracked up when I saw this in Connor's classroom.  Most kids look forward to playing with their toys on weekends and my child wants to go shopping for fruit snacks.  We're so routine!

On Saturday, I was still feeling pretty sick, so I spent most of the day resting.  But on Sunday, I needed to get out, so I took Connor with me for some special time alone.  I missed my little guy! He did awesome shopping with me and he loved that the geese in the parking lot were "going shopping" with us too!
