Perfection

While I was sick this weekend,  I had a lot of time on my own to think.

I've never seen such perfect silky skin, perfect long eyelashes,  perfect soft hair and perfect little fingers.  I've never loved someone so much.

Connor's 1st Xmas = Ruined

Everything was going great. I was so excited for him to open gifts and he's really been starting to babble and hold things the last few days. He had all these cute outfits ready to go and we were going to have so much fun.

Christmas Day at 3 am - I puke

And again...and again...

By the morning, I haven't slept at all and I feel like total crap. I can hardly even get out of bed and my whole body is sore. I can't eat and everything sounds disgusting.

I'm in such a bad mood. Connor's Christmas is ruined. I'm going to miss out on all the fun while I lay in bed and sulk. I'm worried he's going to catch it. I'm worried that my milk supply is going to dwindle to nothing because he's all off of his schedule and missed a bunch of feedings already. Ho ho ho...Merry Christmas.

4 months!

Happy 4 months! I can't believe it!

Celebrating was extra fun because I took the day off of work and we got to spend some quality time together.

Kitty just walked in the room here so you turned to look
I have to make a quick note that you made it through all the photos on the calendar without spitting up! It's a Christmas miracle!
This is the first month that you reacted to the sock monkey next to you. Hello, sock monkey!
I just put him next to you and you reached out your arm to give him a hug!

We went to the pediatrician this week for your 4 month check-up. You were a big boy and made it through your shots like a champ!
Here you are the next morning right before you got your first taste of your ear infection medicine. The doctor said you had a very small one which is why you've had a little cold lately.
Other than that, she said you're doing great! She was impressed with how much you've grown even though you're still a little guy. You're right on target for your milestones!

Four Month Stats:
Weight: 9 lbs, 14 oz. (3%)
Height: 24.25 inches (25-50%)

In the last 2 months, you grew 2 inches and about 2 pounds!

4 Month Milestones:
• Lots of babbling and imitating us talking

• Smiles like a social butterfly

• Giggling to fun songs

• Lots of playing and "flying" with Daddy

• Starting to learn to grab for toys and beginning to roll
