Halloween at Work

We had our annual Boo Fest on Wednesday at work.  Every year, it's expected that I will bring my little one, so this year was Caylee's first Fest.  I spent a lot of time preparing our coordinating costumes (garden gnome, bumblebee and ladybug), but it didn't really work out as planned.  Connor was not very happy that day :( so he refused to wear his bumblebee costume that I brought for him.

Everyone fought over Caylee though!  She was passed around to many of my coworkers during the visit in her cute little ladybug costume.

After the costume contest, we did Trunk or Treat in the parking lot.

When Connor said he had enough candy, we went to my desk so I could show him where I work.

Caylee got to try out my desk chair :)

Pumpkin Carving

We promised Connor we could carve our pumpkin one night last week.  He got to sample a piece of Halloween candy while we worked on it too :)

His request was a smiley face pumpkin, so I picked out a face online and got approval from him.  I drew it on the pumpkin and Daddy carved it.

His smile was priceless when we lit the candle in the pumpkin!

She found her feet!

With her hand obsession, I was wondering how long it would finally take her to find them.  On Sunday, she was hanging out with me in the craft room.  I put big slippers on her feet to try to keep her socks on and I think they got her attention.

And again later! She's still all about her hands, but the feet are becoming a new toy to play with occasionally.
