Annual Leaf Photos

The leaves are back and it's time for some major yard cleaning.  Caylee never got to play in the leaves before, so this was her first time.  This was also her first time in her new boots, so she wouldn't really do much besides stand in one place or sit!

Connor loves jumping in the big piles!

Once Caylee saw how we could throw leaves in the air and watch them fall, she loved it!  Check out that fall chic fashion!

Pumpkin Picking

Our annual pumpkin picking event with Aunt Julie came far too quickly this year.  How is it already the middle of October?  This year, Caylee was able to participate for the first time too!

Connor loved feeding the animals

Caylee seemed a little scared of the bigger animals, but she loved the goats and the sheep

Connor got to pick one ride and he chose the big slide to go on with me.  So fun!

Pumpkins! I don't think she quite knew what to do...

He wanted a picture with the ghosts...

Our usual crying sibling photo...

The girls!

Once we got to the little pumpkins, Caylee seemed to get really into it and helped herself to a few of them.

Connor insisted on pulled the wagon himself.  Our strong guy!

What a tough face!

Connor is Famous...Again!

We got an email from the park district advertising their fall fest on Saturday and look who popped up!  A 2 year old Connor with a giant pumpkin!  I actually didn't even open the email since I knew we wouldn't be able to go to the fest, but a daycare mom told me about the photo and I found it in my deleted messages.

As soon as I saw the picture, I remember someone taking photos of him that day and I had to sign a release form in case they used them.  Two years later and he's famous!

Halloween Costumes

We might as well take advantage of every Halloween costume that fits, right?  So Caylee wore Connor's pumpkin costume to daycare on Halloween because I figured she'd get it dirty during the day.  Before we left, I took a few photos so I could compare them.  Caylee is 2 months older and she's definitely a little thicker than he was.

Connor was very excited to wear his Spiderman costume to school and he posed for pictures in it.

Caylee put on her ladybug costume when we got home.  So cute!

A little tummy time!

The wings and a little butt :)

And then this happened...

Well, the costume only lasted a few minutes before it got ruined by spit, but it was cute!

Trick or Treating

Halloween turned out to be freezing cold (as usual), so we bundled up for trick-or-treating.  This is the first year that Connor really understood what was going on, so I was really excited to see how he'd like it.

And we're off...

Caylee was all bundled up, but she only went out for about 15 minutes.

At first, he was a little nervous, but he quickly figured out how to do it.

After about 2 houses, he was running across the grass to the next house and saying "Trick-or-treat!" ll by himself!

Daddy, Caylee and Aunt Julie went back to our house after about 15 minutes, but Connor and I stayed out for another 45 minutes or so.

He also brought home this cute painting he made at daycare.  The teacher said he didn't like his feet getting cleaned off.  Shocking!  He hates when we try to clean his feet or cut his toenails!

A selfie while we handed out candy.  He helped hand out candy a little, but I think he got bored and distracted by watching the ipad after awhile.
My little spiderman!
