Family Fun

We spent a lot of time playing with the cousins over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Connor loved that he had a whole new set of toys to play with...including a princess castle! [He loved this, BTW!]

On Saturday, we came back for Rae's 2nd birthday party...
Daddy & Caylee hanging out on the couch and Caylee looks adorable in her party dress!

Happy Birthday Rae!

Pigging out on cupcakes

Passed out in Aunt Cheryl's arms

Of all the toys to fight over, all 3 boys wanted to wear the princess tiara!

Seriously. How funny is this?!? Caylee could hardly even fit in the doll stroller, but we made it work!

Haha, 3.5 hour drive home and he passed out 15 minutes before we made it back.

Thanksgiving

We made the drive down to Indianapolis on Wednesday night after work and it was Caylee's first road trip out of state.  Nothing like waking up to a heart-melting moment when Connor decided he wanted to hold his baby sister!  Awww!

In the morning, the cousins played and Uncle Chad read a Christmas book to the kids.

Caylee took her first try in the bouncer and she loved it!  Besides a little spit, she spent quite a long time in there bouncing and playing with the toys.

After naps, Caylee got in her party dress and pink hairbow for some adorable photos

Can she be any cuter?!

Unplanned, but we match with our hot pink!

Mama & Caylee selfie!

Grandpa bought a new toy (I still don't understand what exactly it is), but Connor loved it.  It made noises, lit up, shot foam circles, searched for aliens, etc. and the boys were obsessed with it!

Thanksgiving

After a morning of Hanukkah, we went home, napped and then headed out for Thanksgiving.

Connor loves playing with Ryan and his big boy toys!

Turkey challah!

He got a car ramp with 2 cars from Ryan, Heidi & Rick

He got a Duplo set from Leah, Lloyd, Brett & Marissa

Ryan put a pilgrim hat sticker on his forehead and it was pretty darn cute.  Too bad he wouldn't sit still for a pic!

After dinner, Connor got into his jammies and took photos with everyone.

He loves to help light the Hanukkah candles!

Hanging out with Cousin Ryan!

Thanksgiving Details

This year, I'm most thankful for this little guy!

After the stitches fiasco in the morning, the rest of the day went as planned with lots of family, friends & food!  We arrived a little early when Connor woke up from his nap and he "helped" Grandma finish cooking.
He was the perfect little gentleman during appetizers and at dinner.  He might have thrown his spoon and cup on the floor a few too many times, but other than that, a perfect gentleman!  It got super hot in the house from the oven and all the people, so he stripped down to his onesie after dinner.
Before dessert, he got all dressed in his fire engine jammies and played while everyone chatted and cleaned up.  He got to spend some quality time with cousin Ryan now that he's a little older and they can do things together.  Ryan gave us his old play-doh in this giant container, so Connor had fun pushing and trying to carry it around the house.
Connor stayed up an hour past his bedtime and he did awesome!  It was really nice that he was able to spend the entire meal with the family and we didn't have to leave early.  Plus, he slept an hour later the next morning too!  Good boy...

Thanksgiving Portraits

Love my little guy showing off his adorable sweater romper that I've been saving for the holidays!  (I've also been saving it until I knew he was pretty steady on his feet so he wouldn't ruin the knees while crawling)
He doesn't let his stitches mess up his big smile!
The fireplace was quite a hit at Grandma & Grandpa's house so we took him away after we were done with photos :)
