Connor's First Daycare Show

Connor had his first performance at daycare on Friday evening.  His class sang and danced to 2 songs that they've been practicing for weeks.  We thought he might get too nervous right before it started, but he lined up with all the other kids and did awesome!  He knew the dance better than any of his friends and he impressed us so much! 

After the performance, everyone played outside and had some caterpillar-themed snacks to go with the Very Hungry Caterpillar performance that the older preschoolers did.

Connor's Favorite Song

Connor's first real favorite song is "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor.  I don't count nursery rhymes as favorite songs because they come and go, but this is the first one that he recognizes and asks for on the radio.  It's the cutest thing!  Whenever we get in my car, he says, "Mama, I want 'All the Bass!' It's my favorite song!"  Of course, when I need it, it's not on the radio, so I have to find it on YouTube for him.  He'll also recognize it if a clip plays on the radio or tv.

Daddy would have preferred a different song, but I love it!

Singing "Happy Birthday"

There are a lot of kids in Connor's daycare class with birthdays over the summer and he shocked us when he started singing "Happy Birthday" last week.  I finally got it on video!
