Our Week

Love those little toes!

Best $5 ever spent at a garage sale!  I really needed this bouncer for the kitchen badly.  I didn't want to do it, but it's helping a lot to have a place to put her when I need to cook, clean or eat.  Connor loves turning it on for her too.

Some cheeks ad chubbiness!

Cutie!

Babywearing: Moby Style

This might be my third carrier, but this is the perfect one.  The ring sling hurt my shoulder and the Baby Bjorn was a little uncomfortable, so I bought a Moby on Ebay last week.  The huge piece of fabric was really intimidating, but the video on the website made it much easier than I though.  I got it on my first try!

I love how it feels and it doesn't hurt my shoulders at all.  My lower back hurt a little bit, but I think I can probably work on that.  Caylee fell asleep right away (like she did in all the carriers) and I was able to get some cleaning and cooking done twice during the week!

Hanging out with Mama

I love spending time with Caylee every day.  We're always busy and it's so nice to be off of work for awhile.  Sometimes I wonder if we don't spend enough "quality time" together, but it's hard when she doesn't do much besides sleep and eat.  I love watching her sleep in weird places like this with her best bud, Kitty.

Multitasking mama!  Sewing and babywearing at once!

These little slippers are so freaking cute, so I figured I'd get some use out of them before they get too small.

LOL, she reminds me of an 80s aerobics instructor here!

Babywearing

Look at me!  I'm getting more confident with the ring sling now that I've done it a few times.  It's really nice to be able to spend time with her and get things done around the house while she sleeps.

Unfortunately, the sling was hurting my shoulder after awhile, so I tried the Baby Bjorn the next day.  I think I actually like this better because it distributes the weight between both sides.  I didn't think it would work with such a young baby, but she loved it!

Babywearing

I've been so excited to try using my ring sling.  After way too many attempts on my own, I could not get it to work right and I didn't feel like she was sitting in it correctly.  I found a babywearing event nearby and stopped by on Saturday to learn the correct way to do it.  The women were awesome and showed me how to do it so she was safely secured inside.

The next day, I tried it on my own and it worked! She passed out inside and I was able to play with Connor outside for an hour.  My shoulder hurt a little, so I may need to try a different kind eventually, but it was really fun to do it!
