Thanksgiving

We made the drive down to Indianapolis on Wednesday night after work and it was Caylee's first road trip out of state.  Nothing like waking up to a heart-melting moment when Connor decided he wanted to hold his baby sister!  Awww!

In the morning, the cousins played and Uncle Chad read a Christmas book to the kids.

Caylee took her first try in the bouncer and she loved it!  Besides a little spit, she spent quite a long time in there bouncing and playing with the toys.

Grandpa bought a new toy (I still don't understand what exactly it is), but Connor loved it.  It made noises, lit up, shot foam circles, searched for aliens, etc. and the boys were obsessed with it!

Our Short Week

A typical evening in our house...Daddy on the laptop, Connor watching "Ninions," Caylee on my boob, and me taking photos on my phone!

At some point, I remembered the little Christmas tree and penguins I slaved over for days a couple years ago, so I pulled those out for Connor to see.

He's super into penguins right now, so the timing worked out great.  He loved decorating his own little tree!

Caylee brought home the most adorable little art project from daycare.  Awww!

Squash!

Caylee had her first taste of baby food last week.  In honor of Thanksgiving, we tried squash (and also because it was Connor's first food too).

She was a little confused at first...

But I think she liked it!
