Surprise teeth!

It was Friday, March 1, when we were at Target and Daddy was trying to make Connor laugh while we walked up and down the aisles.  He spotted some new pearly ones in Connor's mouth.  Where did these come from?

He hasn't gotten a new tooth in awhile, so he was due for one.  We had no idea that both of his upper molars were already almost halfway out!  What a champ!  Since then, I've been watching them and they're just about out now.  And I thank my awesome son for not letting teething bother him one bit!

Mysterious Words

Connor has a collection of words that he says all the time, but we don't understand them.  I try to use clues or figure out if there's some kind of pattern of when he says them, but nothing is popping into my head.  I'm sure he knows what they mean (to him) because he says them all the time!

Ah-bee
This was the first one and it's been going on for several months now.  It's usually repeated a few times in a row.

Dee-dah
No clue, and it's not Daddy either.

Ba-pee
This one just started this week.  I thought it meant the empty water bottle in my car that he likes to play with, but then he said it in the kitchen too.

Emmett's 1st Birthday

Over the weekend, we went to Emmett's 1st birthday party.  He had a double party with his friend, Daniel, but Connor was still the oldest kid there.  It was adorable that Connor was the big boy who showed his two little friends how to walk and play with some of the toys.
Connor was having a hard time staying patient on Mommy's lap during the gift opening because everything looked so fun!  He helped himself to his favorite gift (from Aunt Julie & Uncle Sam) that was a sock monkey jack-in-the-box!
He also really loved playing basketball with Emmett's little sports toy.
And he may or may not have been using a lime as a basketball...haha!

After awhile, he was able to get ahold of the sock monkey again and passed it around the room so everyone could wind it for him.  He loves his sock monkeys!
