We went to the park the other day since we all got home early and it was perfect out. After the swings, I thought it might be fun to try the sandbox for the first time.
I was worried that he might want to put the sand in his mouth, but he was fascinated with picking up a handful of sand and watching it flow through his fingers. He also loved kicking his feet in the sand. I think light socks were a bad idea!
When we got home, we played in the front yard for a bit also. Connor seems to be a little scared of grass, so I wanted to get him more comfortable. He also doesn't really like the bright sun so he was hiding his eyes!
P.S. I love his lox, bagels & cream cheese shirt!
That's great that he didn't eat a handful of sand! The first time I took Chloe to the beach she was about 9 months old... not only did put a handful of sand in her mouth, but she kept trying to share the handfuls of sand with me!
