Little Shopper

While Daddy was raking leaves this morning, I attempted to take both kids to the store with me.  I expected this to be exhausted and end badly, but Connor surprised me.  He got his own little "shopping cart" red basket that he pulled along behind me.

He started browsing the racks and then I asked him to follow me to the next area.  "Mama, I'm not read yet.  I'm still looking."
He pointed out everything glittery with a comment like, "Look at these pretty ones!"
That's my boy!

Halloween Costumes

We might as well take advantage of every Halloween costume that fits, right?  So Caylee wore Connor's pumpkin costume to daycare on Halloween because I figured she'd get it dirty during the day.  Before we left, I took a few photos so I could compare them.  Caylee is 2 months older and she's definitely a little thicker than he was.

Connor was very excited to wear his Spiderman costume to school and he posed for pictures in it.

Caylee put on her ladybug costume when we got home.  So cute!

A little tummy time!

The wings and a little butt :)

And then this happened...

Well, the costume only lasted a few minutes before it got ruined by spit, but it was cute!

Trick or Treating

Halloween turned out to be freezing cold (as usual), so we bundled up for trick-or-treating.  This is the first year that Connor really understood what was going on, so I was really excited to see how he'd like it.

And we're off...

Caylee was all bundled up, but she only went out for about 15 minutes.

At first, he was a little nervous, but he quickly figured out how to do it.

After about 2 houses, he was running across the grass to the next house and saying "Trick-or-treat!" ll by himself!

Daddy, Caylee and Aunt Julie went back to our house after about 15 minutes, but Connor and I stayed out for another 45 minutes or so.

He also brought home this cute painting he made at daycare.  The teacher said he didn't like his feet getting cleaned off.  Shocking!  He hates when we try to clean his feet or cut his toenails!

A selfie while we handed out candy.  He helped hand out candy a little, but I think he got bored and distracted by watching the ipad after awhile.
My little spiderman!
