The task of putting on socks has been something Connor has been working on for months. He's gone from hardly getting one toe in to slowly working his way to all the toes in, but not the heel, and then pulling it off to start again. This morning, I went to wake Connor up and he was sitting in bed holding his sock. He said, "Mama, sock!" I grabbed his foot and noticed how cold it was, so it must have fallen off sometime during the night. While I waited for him to stand up, I realized his cold foot was suddenly covered. When I leaned over to feel it, I realized that he put his sock on all by himself!

I don't think he even realized what an accomplishment it was, but I was very proud of him! It might be upside-down, but it's the concept that matters!
