The Scooter

Connor got a scooter for his birthday last week and this was the gift he was most interested in opening.  We weren't sure he was ready for it, but he quickly proved us wrong!

He loves his new Sesame Street helmet (hat) and he got right on and started scooting!

Not sure where he learned to do this, but he was amazingly pretty good on his first try!

Birthday Party Details

Instead of re-typing this, I'm linking to my other blog to show off some of the DIY details and designs I made for the party.  I started working on this stuff almost right after Connor turned 1 and it's been really fun to come up with new ideas to add as the year went on.  I love making everything match perfectly and I loved seeing Connor's face when he saw it all set up!
