Almost Tall Enough

I have so many photos of him building with blocks, but he's just getting so good at it!  He loves building towers with Daddy.  Daddy tries to show him how to make them stable with a good structure because that's such a Daddy thing to do!

Every week, they try a new way to make their tower as tall as possible.  I think they finally reached the tallest they can possibly get with this set of blocks!

Mother's Day Part 2

On the morning of Mother's Day, I was presented with a little pile on the kitchen table.  Connor and Daddy made me a restaurant menu with their breakfast specialties and I had to pay for my food in kisses!

 I might have cried a few tears because of how adorable it was!  They also wrote me a very sweet card with a note that I was going to have a 6-month membership to the Beer of the Month Club!  Daddy made me pancakes and caramel cappuccino for breakfast and I paid in kisses to both boys.

 

After breakfast, we got dressed, and then Connor and I headed over to Petsmart.  It was too cold to play outside, so we settled for hanging out in the pet store.  Connor's favorite part of the trip was watching the doggies get haircuts!

We went to Aunt Julie & Uncle Sam's house for dinner and they blew up a couple balloons just for Connor!

Connor hasn't visited their house since he was a baby, so he had fun climbing all the stairs and looking out at the city from their roof.

Aunt Julie set up a little place setting just for Connor with baby spoons!

Connor helped everyone open their gifts...

And he helped them read their cards...

Connor even got his own gift!  Aunt Julie & Uncle Sam gave him an adorable little robot t-shirt!

His favorite part of the visit was when he discovered Uncle Sam's fishies!

He had so much fun pointing at them and saying, "Fishie!"
