Hop on Pop

Connor has something special that he likes to do every time he goes to Grandma & Grandpa's house.  They have a special book called "Hop on Pop" by Dr. Suess that he loves to read.  (I actually hate that book so I like that he looks forward to reading it at their house.)  As soon as he walks in the door, he runs over to his basket of toys and grabs his favorite book.  He sits down in someone's lap and says, "Read book."  He calls the book "Hop Pop."

Being a big boy at school

The way the kids act in daycare always shocks me.  The teachers started giving the kids food in a big platter and they're learning to serve themselves onto their plate with a big spoon. It was so shocking to me last week when he politely spooned some peaches and spinach quiche onto his plate and ate like he was an adult. 

This would never happen at home! 

How do they do that?  Those teachers have the magic touch. :)
