Valentine's Day Festivities

Nothing cuter than a little monkey business to start off Valentine's Day!  I designed this little thing when I got to work and sent it out to our families.  I also hung it up on my cube wall so people stopped by all day to admire his cuteness!
I got a big surprise in the morning when a package was delivered to me at work.  Roses from my two Valentines!

When we all got home after work/daycare, we opened presents.  Connor and I got Daddy some new Lacoste cologne and some Auntie Anne's pretzel kits.  Connor opened up his gifts which were Cookie Monster socks, new pajamas, and pink heart balloons!

Grandma & Grandpa brought pizza over for dinner along with a little gift for their Valentine.  This was the first time Connor has a real interest in unwrapping his gift, so he enjoyed ripping and throwing the red tissue paper.

A new soft doggie!  I think this finally convinced him to say "dog" over the weekend, so that was exciting!

Valentine's Day photo shoot

With his 18 month birthday right around the corner, I decided it was time for a mini photo shoot and we haven't done one in awhile.  In honor of Valentine's Day, he posed with his love monkey that Daddy got me for Valentine's Day 2 years ago.

It's kind of shocking how much he looks like me in these...
We also did a little tribute to baby Easton who sadly died from SIDS last year at this time.  He will be remembered forever <3 2011="" all="" and="" august="" babies="" board="" br="" easton.="" hearts="" in="" message="" moms="" my="" nbsp="" of="" on="" photos="" remembrance="" the="" took="" with="">

First ice cream sundae

We went to Applebee's for dinner on Friday.  That's one of our routine places when we have to stop at Home Depot and do grocery shopping at Target since they're all in the same shopping strip.  We had an awesome waiter who tried to entertain Connor and get him to smile.  During dinner, he brought Connor a balloon and we thought he'd love it.  I even told the waiter he got one the night before and loved it.  But for some reason, when he brought the balloon, Connor started freaking out and crying.  After we calmed him down, he ate his dinner and then the waiter stopped by and said he had to win home over before we left.  We were shocked when he brought us a free ice cream sundae!  Connor has never had one before, so this was very new to him.  Not surprisingly, he loved it!
Vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream...he ate it all!
