Got milk?

We went to the new Tilted Kilt that opened up nearby this weekend. None of us have ever been there before so we weren't sure what to expect. Let's just say Connor was mesmerized by the "milk factory" he saw in there...

Sick.

I hate being sick. But I hate being sick even more when my little boy is sick too.

I have to admit that his first cold is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He's a little sniffly, but he's still just as smiley as usual and sleeping great. I hate hearing him snort, but it's also kinda cute. : ) Daddy is the official nose cleaner.

I have the humidifier set up in his room blowing into the crib. I'm sacrificing using it (since I can take cold medicine) so he can take advantage of it. Hopefully, this cold will be over in a few days and we'll both be back to our normal healthy selves soon.

A year ago today

On December 1, 2010, I had my last cycle of fertility treatments and conceived a little miracle.

Looking back at my old post from December 3, 2010, I was so stressed and emotional. I pretty much assumed that the IUI wouldn't work and I'd be on to IVF for the next cycle. I wanted to be pregnant more than anything, but I was so used to the disappointment by then. It's really amazing to think about how much has changed in the past year.

One year later and I have this cute 3 month old...
