Mommy's Birthday

On Sunday, I celebrated my 31st birthday.  It's not a very momentous year, but it was nice to spend the weekend with the people I love and doing things I enjoy.  I love these photos we took in front of the house after brunch on Sunday!

Me in the morning with no makeup is horrible, but I guess I'll put them in here since this is supposed to be a blog about Connor.  When Connor and Daddy woke up in the morning, they presented me with two pink glittery cards (one from each of them) and a gold necklace with blue stones.

Kitty also celebrated by wearing a glowstick on Saturday night!

Food

Though he has gotten more picky, he loves to eat!  Here are some of my favorite food moments from the past few weeks...

Since it was my birthday weekend, I want to do something a little extra special.  I got a coupon for a discount at Jump Zone near our house so I thought it would be a good excuse to go and have some fun!  Just like last time, Connor was a little scared at first, but I showed him how you can slide on the mat to get in and he seemed interested.  We started out in the Mickey jump house since it looked like it was for smaller kids and he knows the familiar Mickey face.

He quickly figured out what to do and had a blast climbing and jumping!

After awhile, it seemed like he got tired and he wandered over to the baby toys in the corner. 

And what did he play with?  The same toy we have at home!


Luckily, I was able to talk him into going back to the jump houses for more fun!  He got a lot more adventurous and even went into one by himself!

At the end, I let him be a big boy and slide down by himself too!
