Now that fall classes are in full swing, we attended our first Parent & Tot class. We arrived early so we could play in the playground first.

We also had a little fun in the hallway while the teacher was setting up!
The theme of this class was Animal Safari so all the kids got an animal headband to wear. Connor picked the lion "hat" and he's been wearing it on and off since we brought it home. They had about 8 different stations with animal-related activities to do. One of his favorites was the big water table with rubber duckies dressed as animals. He certainly splashed more than any of the other kids!
He also really loved the farm animal Duplo blocks, so I think I might put these on his holiday list.
We made lion masks with paper plates and construction paper.
Since the ducky water table was his favorite, he went back a few more times between activities. We also got to snack on animal crackers and read two books about safari animals during the class!
