Hanging out in Indianapolis

We took a day off work/daycare so that we could spend an extra day with family over the weekend.  We had a lot of fun spending time with everyone and watching the kids have a blast together.

On Saturday, we went to Uncle Chad & Charly's house for lunch.  Connor loved playing with Cousin Grady's toys and reading his books.

They found his play-doh containers and used them as blocks to build towers!

After Connor's (and Mommy's) nap in the afternoon, we had some time to play and get silly.  Connor thought it was funny to climb in and out of the bar stools while Grandma was busy cooking.

We had a little piggy that night because Connor ate enough to feed 2 kids!

Connor also spent a lot of time with his best doggie buddy, Bristol. 

On Sunday, Connor seemed to know how cute he looked in his little plaid boating outfit because he put his hat on and posed for pictures!

Cousins (BFFs) Forever

This might be the cutest thing ever.

We were walking from Grandma & Grandpa's house down to the water to go for a ride on the boat.  Wrangling two toddlers without letting either of them wander off into the street or to see a dog is difficult, so I figured the best way was to have them stay together.  Awww!

Rain Man

We've had a LOT of rain and bad storms lately.  Connor begs to go "outshide" every night after dinner and we have to sadly tell him that we can't.  So the next best thing is sitting by the big window in the living room and watching the rain fall.  We've been trying to teach him what thunder and wind is too.

Daddy will open the window a tiny bit so they can feel the wind and a few light rain drops.

One day last week, we even read Mommy's magazine while we listened to the rain.  Connor and I looked through all 129 pages and pointed out all the things he knows!
