Adventures with pasta sauce

I made Connor some squash and broccoli fries for dinner last week.  He LOVED the squash the night before, so I was going to have him finish up the rest.  But he wouldn't eat it and he kept pointing at my little bowl of pasta sauce.  I asked him if that's what he wanted and he nodded yes.

He took a taste of it and seemed to enjoy it...

And he REALLY loved it because he stuck his whole face in!

Messy boy!  He ate the whole bowl of sauce!  I guess it's tomatoes so it's ok, right?

A playdate

Connor and I had a very special playdate on Saturday.  I started talking to an old friend from high school recently and she babysits the cutest little boy every other Saturday.  We met up for some play time for the boys and time for us to catch up and gossip.

We met at in the play area at the mall (totally cute and perfect for toddlers).  Connor was adorable in his little plaid button down shirt, sweater vest, and cords playing in the little blue car!

For some reason, he really wanted to wear his jacket, so he put that on halfway through the playdate.  The boys shared some snacks, but Connor was the big pig who ate most of them.

We tried to get some quick photos of them, but they weren't interested.  They were both exhausted and we texted each other pics of them passed out in the car 2 minutes after we left!
