Awkward

We were busy doing things around the house over the weekend. I let Connor play nearby and hoped he wouldn't get into too much trouble. I couldn't help but snap a few photos of this pose when I saw him.

Help me, Mommy!

He got stuck in this position with one knee and one foot on the floor. It's the most he's ever done on his own to try to stand up, so we were proud of our little guy! But we had to laugh at this!

Finally, I had to adjust him because he got pretty frustrated...

New Basketball Fan

Last week, we had a little time after dinner to play, so we all went outside to enjoy the nice weather. We took out Connor's little lawn chair (which he loves) and watched Daddy play basketball. He was so mesmerized by the basketball and shrieked as he watched it bounce.

I sat on the grass with him and we did (manly) cheers for Daddy as he shot baskets. We also watched neighbors walk by with strollers and dogs. Every time a car would drive by or someone would walk by across the street, he would turn to watch them. Very observant little boy!

Replacement Remote

Connor is very interested in the things he can't have: remote, cell phone, camera, video camera, etc. Trying to keep them away from him has been quite difficult as he gets more mobile and finds where I hide them.

Last week, I realized that all these things have one thing in common - they're black rectangles. So what if I find something else that's a similar color and shape, but is obviously not a piece of expensive technology? Bring in the old glasses case!
