Last week was one of the hardest I've had in a long time. Despite the sadness and loss, I tried to stay strong for Connor. His smiles kept me going when I had a hard time getting through the day.
On Monday, I'm not sure why, but I wanted to keep some sense of normalcy, so I attempted to take Connor to the pediatrician hours after I found out I was miscarrying. I don't know...I guess I just wanted to see him healthy and happy even if I wasn't. This was probably a bad idea looking bad because we ended up waiting almost 2 hours to get in. Connor was a good boy and played pretty well in the waiting area.

Once we got into the exam room, he was hungry and tired, so he wasn't very happy to be there. Luckily, we got in and out pretty quickly and he's perfectly healthy! He's 24 lbs (5%) and 33.5 inches (25-50%) tall which is right where he should be on his growth curve!
Later in the week, we took out one of Connor's new bath toys that he got for his birthday. The kid loves his stacking cups, so he was very excited to have another set just for the bath!
And after he got out of the bath, he played with his other set of cups and used them to give Kitty a hat...
Connor also spent some time with Grandma & Grandpa and got to use some of his new outdoor toys! G & G got a slide, giant ball and big wheel from the neighbors across the street and Connor loved them!
I got to witness his first ride on a Big Wheel and he did really well!
