Easter Egg Hunt 2013

I was very excited for Connor's 2nd Easter egg hunt because he could finally participate.  Last year, we did it together and he pretty much just held the eggs and shook them.  This year, he really got into it and helped find them!  At first, he didn't really understand what to do.  He just followed us around the yard and didn't really see the eggs until we pointed them out.

But once he figured it out, he gave it his best effort!

He was in and out of bushes and crawled under them to grab all the brightly-colored eggs that were hidden for him.

Once he grabbed onto that basket, he wouldn't let anyone else hold it!

Daddy helped him with some of the eggs that were too high...

But he got the low ones all by himself!

Grandma helped him open his eggs to see what was inside!  He got some money, goldfish, little vanilla wafers, raisins, and some other little toys!

Easter Portraits

On Saturday, we had our family Easter celebration in Indianapolis.  I brought Connor's bunny ears, but he let cousin Rae wear them for the photos.

I love how their almost the same size and she's 14 months younger!

The three of them together are so cute! 

Before we know it, they'll all be a little bigger and playing together!

Fun with Grandpa

During the last couple of weeks, Connor got some extra play time with Grandpa while Grandma was in Los Angeles.  I've also loved seeing him play with some of my old school toys while he's at their house.  Grandpa has been spending a lot of time looking for the perfect toy that Connor will love.  He wants something without batteries that he can really enjoy.  For now, he's playing with some of my old toys and random other things they've collected in the basement.
