First Big Boy Burger

This week, Connor had his first slider.  When we were at the grocery store, I ordered a couple adult-sized burgers for us and a mini cheddar burger for him.  Daddy cut up a piece of bread so it would fit the burger and Connor had his own little burger to try.

He loved it!  He ate the majority of it before it completely fell apart!

Dressing up at Target

Maybe Daddy would prefer we not call it "dress up," but it sure was fun to put Connor in different hates and glasses while we were shopping!  It keeps him entertained and I can look around a little longer!
My faves are the sunglasses because he looks like a little pimp!  He kept playing peek-a-boo with them :)

Hey ladies!  Check out my heart sunnies!

First time at the childrens' museum

On Saturday, Aunt Julie and I took Connor to the Kohl Childrens' Museum.  It was very special for us because we used to LOVE going there when we were younger.  Although the location is different now, some of the exhibits are similar to ones we remember, so it was a lot of fun to see them again as adults.

We started out at the car exhibit where Connor got to drive Mommy in a big blue car!
He also loved the little track where he could watch cars drive down the spiral.  He was too scared to go through the kid car wash, so we'll save that for next time!

Aunt Julie and I were especially excited for the mini Dominicks to go grocery shopping because we remember this one from when we were little.  Connor got his little shopping cart and went shopping for his favorite foods (or whatever looked appealing to him).

We took some special photos with the soft pretzels for Daddy since they're a fave of his.  We also took photos next to the meat grinder for Uncle Sam.

The exhibit I was most excited for was the mini Potbelly's restaurant!  It looked exactly like the real thing with all the same signs and decor except much smaller.  Connor played on the cash register with Aunt Julie...

He made sandwiches using the play food...

And his absolute favorite part of the entire museum was the broom!  He was dragging it around the restaurant and didn't want to let go!

Another one of his favorite activities was watching the balls float as the air pushed them.

He drove a train!
"All aboard!"
In the music area, he enjoyed playing the drums and watching the confetti bounce around inside.
There was a baby nursery where he was able to feed the baby a bottle.  He also rocked the babies and put them to bed.  This was adorable!

In the nature area, he walked around the dock and stones...

And he drove the boat with Aunt Julie!  Row, row, Connor!

He had so much fun (and so did we!) and he was such a curious little guy!

When we got into the car, he passed out right away and I transferred him to his bed without a peep.  Such a tiring, but fun, day!
