Things no one told you about motherhood
1. You talk in a sing-song baby voice so much that you forget how to talk normally.
2. It's amazing to stare at someone else who looks just like you.
3. You suddenly don't mind the smell of poop when it comes from your own offspring.
4. The post-partum recovery is a lot worse than you ever imagined.
5. Something as simple as putting a clear coat of nail polish on becomes a challenge when the baby could wake up any second.
6. Staring at someone sleeping has never been so interesting.
7. Seeing your husband as a dad makes you love him even more.
8. You quickly forget the pain of pregnancy and labor when you look into your child's eyes. What morning sickness?
9. You're never bored. Ever.
10. You've never been happier.
