Reb Robin

On Friday night, we went to Red Robin with Grandma & Grandpa T. Grandma got you your first-ever balloon and you loved playing with it! Red Robin was a great place to bring a messy, loud little guy like you because you fit in well.

At the table next to us, there was a little boy named Ben and his dad. Ben was very interested in talking to you and singing and dancing for you. You had an instant connection and kept smiling at him as her performed!
No focusing on the bottle we were trying to feed you because Ben was waving at you!
And some balloon play!

A trip to the doctor

Lil' munchkin is sick again. I knew it was going to happen since it's been about 1.5 months since the last cold & ear infection. Since we're going to be away this weekend, I figured it would be better to be pro-active and take him before it gets too bad.

We had to wait a LONG time to get into the exam room, but that gave me a chance to try to get a photo of his spiked hair. They spiked it at daycare and it was so darn cute!
He was such a good boy while we waited 45 minutes to get in. All the other parents and the women at the front desk were so impressed with how patient he was. I just smiled and said, "Thanks," while I giggled to myself that he spit up all over the chairs!
The best part about going to the doctor is...
the exam table! That paper they put down always gets destroyed, spit on, and eaten before the doctor even comes in!
Anyway, after all that fun and waiting, we found out he had some clear liquid in his ears, but not a full blown ear infection. His cold got worse over the weekend, but I think it's quickly getting better. Of course, now Mommy and Daddy are sick, but at least our little guy is feeling better again.

Mashed Banana

I had an extra banana left this week (I take them for snacks at work) so I figured Connor could try his first real banana. Poor guy wasn't feeling too good so he looks a little sick and sad, but he had fun playing with mashed banana!
A lot of it ended up under his chin, but some of it went in his mouth. He loves to feed himself!
